Trust & Safety

Safety is a mechanism, not a promise.

Anyone can say they are careful. These are the specific checks and controls that run on every booking, whether or not anything goes wrong.

How providers are verified

1

Identity-verified

Name, address, date of birth, and bank account verified through Stripe. Required to accept any booking.

2

Licence-verified

Professional licences (where applicable) reviewed and approved by our team, category by category.

3

Continuously monitored

Verified profiles, review ratings, and customer reports. Providers who drop below our standards lose access.

What runs on every booking

The arrival code

Each booking generates a unique 6-digit code shown only to the customer. When the provider arrives they enter it to start the job, confirming they are at the right location, with the right customer, who is ready. No code entry, no job start.

Photo proof of work

Before and after photos are part of the booking completion flow. They are attached to the record and visible to both parties, creating a permanent, timestamped record of what was done.

Messaging stays in the app

All communication happens in the app, and contact details are not shared until the booking is confirmed. Leaving the platform makes it harder for us to help if something goes wrong.

Review integrity

Only customers who have completed a booking can review it, and only once. That rule is enforced at the database level, not in a policy document.

Reporting a problem

Open the booking and report an issue. Our team reviews every report under these categories:

  • Service quality or unfinished work
  • Payment or refund issue
  • Safety concern
  • Harassment or discrimination

In an emergency

Call 911 first.

Then report the case in the app so we have a record of what happened. Do not rely on messaging or in-app reporting alone in a safety emergency.
